Girls will be girls?

This is Rosie playing with a dolls house given to her by her cousins - Charlotte, Sophie and Sarah. She is really happy when she is throwing the dolls out of the windows, trying to eat the beds and standing on the balcony - in fact it makes me wonder if girls are programmed to like dolls houses? Last night she climbed the stairs for the very first time to get closer to it. When baby number 2 is born we'll be able to see if this is the case, especially if its a boy ... I have a Scalextric slot racing track and a Hornby electric train set in the cellar from Ben and Michael to try out.

Incidentally I have a friend who banned their two boys from having guns and gave them Lego building bricks instead - guess what they made? Yes ... stonking big machine guns!
