Childrens Garden Furniture

Here is Rosie standing next to her new garden furniture! The world has certainly moved on since Ben and Michael were babies - garden furniture for children would have been thought of as the hieght of luxury. I can't help feeling uneasy about buying this, it's imported from China by a top supermarket and sold for £17 for two chairs and a table. If the supermarket makes half that means the cost of making it, packaging it, transporting around the world and distributing it to a local store can only be around £8.50. How is it done? I really hope that this is not garden furniture for children made by children - that would be just dreadful.

Finding the magical "Made In The USA" tag has become as difficult as buying a winning lottery ticket. On the rare occasion one does surface, the cost is usually exorbitant.

All thoughts of inhumane torture aside though, it really is an adorable furniture set.
