British / French Festival

Went to Sante Foy Le Grande to take a tour of this beautiful bastide town during a week of British / French festival. The pictures show the mile or so of decorations over the road - must have taken hours and hours to make, never mind put up. Star attraction seemed to be chips, fish AND mushy peas. But we had a pizza from the van down the road instead. I can't believe how good it was - knocks Leicester restaurants into a cocked hat and all from the back of a Transit van!
