Nothing happening yet!
9 a.m. Wednesday morning and nothing is happening yet. Still Helen has had a nice rest and enjoyed everyone running round after her. Here she is explaining to one of her friends on the telephone that "no - I still haven't had the baby!" - despite calling off a night out with them on Monday. It's all quite surreal, like a TV blockbuster building up the tension until the moment when everything happens all at once. In TV terms I think we've reached the first ad-break!

I remember that wait. It seemed that the baby would never get here.
But things happened just as they were supposed to, and I became a first-time father at the age of 47 just seven weeks ago.

Still nothing happening ... nice to hear that everything went well. With Rosie being 17 months old i'm really looking forward to having a second - I hope it's a boy ... but a girl will be just great as well. Hope your child is progressing well.
